2 WHEREAS, The State of California, Department of Housing and Community
3 Development, Division of Community Affairs, has issued a NOTICE OF REQUEST
4 FOR PROPOSALS UNDER THE CALIFORNIA HOUSING ADVISORY SERVICE FOR FISCAL YEAR
5 1982-83, and
6 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto is a municipality, and is willing
7 to accept the grant, and
8 WHEREAS, Ross Nammar, City Manager, who will act on behalf of Sponser
9 is designated as the person who can act on behalf of the City of San Jacinto
10 and will sign all necessary documents required to complete the grant trans-
11 action ,
12 NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Councjil of the City of
13 San Jacinto hereby authorizes Ross Nammar, City Manager, to apply for and
14 accept the grant in the amount of $9,100.00 and to enter into a contract witL
15 the Department of Housing and Community Development and perform any and all
16 responsibilities in relationship to such contract.
