2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE SUB-
3 MISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY DE-
VELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO EXPAND THE
4 CITY'S CODE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS State law provides that all residents in the state are
6 entitled to safe and decent housing.
7 WHEREAS the City of San Jacinto is attempting to provide its re-
8 sidents with the required decent housing.
9 WHEREAS the City has an existing Rental Rehabilitation Program
10 funded by Community Development Block Grants.
11 WHEREAS the City desires to expand its program to provide funds
12 to upgrade its owner occupied housing stock.
13 BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
14 approves the submission of an application for the expansion of its
15 Housing Rehabilitation Program.
16 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July 1983 .
