HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1488 1 RESOLUTION NO. 1488 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO REQUESTING PARTICIPATION IN AWARD 3 83/6779 TO UNION OIL COMPANY BY RIVERSIDE COUNTY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983-1984 4 5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: 6 Section 1 . Requests participation in Award 83/6779 to Union Oil 7 Company by Riverside County Board of Supervisors . 8 Section Z. The City Council of the City of San Jacinto approves the f) following terms and conditions relating to participation in the County 1() contract for lubricating oils and greases: 11 A. Will make all purchases in its own name for public use only. 12 B. Will be responsible for payment directly to the vendor and for tax 13 liability and will hold the County harmless therefrom. 14 C. Has not and will not have in force any contract for like purchases. 15 D. That in all particulars not recited in this Resolution, said 4 election shall be held and conducted as provided by law for holding municipal elections in said City. 5 Section 7. That notice of the time and place of holding said election is 6 hereby given, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized, instructed and directed to give such further or additional notice of said election in time, form and 7 manner as required by law. 8 Section 8.
