2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
ELECTING TO RECEIVE THE ALLOCATION OF TAXES PURSUANT TO
3 SECTION 33676 OF THE CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
4 WHEREAS, Section 33676 of the Community Redevelopment Law (Sections 33000
et. seq, of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California) provides
5 that any affected taxing agency, such as the City, may elect to be allocated,
in addition to that portion of taxes allocated to the City pursuant to sub-
6 division (a) of Section 33670 of said Law, all or any portion of the tax reve-
nues allocated to a Redevelopment Agency pursuant to subdivision (b) of said
7 Section 33670 attributable to increases in the City's tax rate imposed for the
benefit of the City which levy occurs subsequent to the tax year in which the
8 ordinance adopting the San Jacinto Redevelopment Plan becomes effective.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO AS FOLLOWS:

11 Section 1 . The City Council of the City of San Jacinto hereby elects to
be allocated in addition to the portion of taxes allocated to this City pur-
suant to subdivision (a) of Section 33670 of the Community Redevelopment Law
12 (Section 33000 et. seq. of the Health and Safety Code of the State of Cali-
fornia) , all of the tax revenues allocated to the San Jacinto Redevelopment
13 Project Area of the City of San Jacinto, pursuant to subdivision (b) of said
Section 33670 attributable to any increases in this City's tax rates which
14 occur after the tax year in which the ordinance adopting the Redevelopment
Plan for the San Jacinto Redevelopment Project of the City of San Jacinto
15 becomes effective.
16 Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto is hereby directed
to file forthwith certified copies of this resolution with the governing body
17 of the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Jacinto, the
Auditor-Controller and the Tax Collector for the County of Riverside, State
18 of California.
19 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
20 JACINTO on this 16th day of June 1983.
