RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING PRELIMINARY ISSUANCE OF BONDS OF A
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT
THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED WITH REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING FACTS :
,WHEREAS , the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA
( hereinafter referred to as the " legislative body of the local
Agency" ) has heretofore undertaken proceedings and declared the
necessity to issue bonds on behalf of a Community Facilities
District pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello-Roos
Community Facilities Act of 198211 , being Chapter 2 . 5 , Part 1 ,
Division 2 , Title 5 of the Government Code of the State of
California. Said Community Facilities District is designated and
known as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 1 ( SOBOBA SPRINGS )
( hereinafter referred to as the "District" ) p and ,
WHEREAS , pursuant to law an election was held and the following
proposition was approved by more than 2/3 ' s of the voters voting
at said election:
PROPOSITION A
Shall the City of San Jacinto , Community
Facilities District No . 1 ( Soboba Springs ) ,
County of Riverside, 1 ) incur a bonded
indebtedness in an amount not to exceed
$17 , 000 , 000 . 00 to pay for certain public YES X
improvements and facilities consisting of
street improvements in MAIN STREET and
SOBOBA SPRINGS ROAD , including a bridge NO
crossing , together with sanitary sewer ,
water , drainage and utility facilities ,
and a public fire station facility , includ-
ing appurtenances and appurtenant work, to
serve the properties within the boundaries
of the Community Facilities District , and
2 ) levy a special tax to secure said bonded
indebtedness and/or pay for said public
capital improvements , as well as certain
additional police and fire services?
and,
WHEREAS , this legislative body now desires to preliminarily
authorize the issuance of such special tax bonds .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of San Jacinto , in regular session, this 3rd day of May
1988 , as follows :
1 . That the above recitals are all true and correct .
2 . That the legislative body hereby authorizes the issuance of
all special tax bonds of community Facilities District No . 1
( Soboba Springs ) . The exact terms and conditions of the
issuance of such special tax bonds shall be subject to the
provisions of the "Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of
198211 , as amended, and such further Resolution or Resolutions
of Issuance as shall be adopted by this legislative body.
3 . That Brown & Diven, Bond Counsel , is hereby authorized and
directed to forthwith file and prosecute to final judgment,
an action pursuant to Government Code Section 53359 and Code
of Civil Procedure Section 860 , et sect. , to validate proceed-
ings pertaining to the formation of the District , the levy of
authorized special taxes within said District , the issuance
of the special tax bonds as authorized herein.
4 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution_
MOVED , PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETIN OF SAID CITY
COUNCIL duly held the 3rd day o May 1988 .

CERTIFICATE
