3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE
4 LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE SAN JACINTO GENERAL
PLAN FOR THE THIRD CYCLE OF CALENDAR YEAR 1987

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES
6 HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
7 WHEREAS, Section 65631 of the Government Code
provides that no mandatory element of a General
8 Plan shall be amended more frequently than four
times during any calendar year, and that the City
9 council of the City of San Jacinto is amending the
Land Use Element of the San Jacinto General Plan
10 for the third time during the 1987 calendar year;
and

WHEREAS, the City Council of San Jacinto held a
12 public hearing on December 22, 1987 and made a
determination that the Land Use Element of the
13 San Jacinto General Plan should be amended as
14 follows :
A. Existing land use patterns will be enhanced
15 by GPA 2-87 and being assigned commercial and
16 residential land uses .
B. GPA 2-87 will enhance the logical
17 development of the City.
18 C. GPA-2-87 allows reasonable and proper use
19 of property in the vicinity of the amendment .
D. No significant environmental impact is
20 expected from adoption of GPA-2-87 .
21 WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on
GPA-2-87 was published in accordance with Article
22 6, Chapter 3., Title 7, of the Government code; and
23 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there will
not be a significant impact upon the environment by
24 right of this change and adopts a Negative
25 Declaration for General Plan Amendment 2--87 .
