1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINT09
CALIFORNIA , DECLARING THE RESULTS OF A "MELLO- ROOS COMMUNITY
2 FACILITIES ACT OF 1982 " SPECIAL TAX AND BOND AUTHORIZATION
ELECTION

a THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED WITH REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING FACTS :

WHEREAS , the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CAI_IFORNIA,
6 ( hereinafter referred to as the " legislative body of the local
Agency " ) , has previously declared its intention and held and
7 conducted proceedings relating to the issuance of bonds to be
secured by special taxes to pay for certain public capital facili -
8 ties in a community facil ities district , as authorized pursuant
to the terms and provisions of the "Mello-Roos Community Facili -
9 ties Act of 1982 " , being Chapter 2 . 5 , Part 1 , Division 2 , Title 5
of the Government Code of the State of California , said Community
10 Facilities District being referred to as COMMUNITY FACILITIES
DISTRICT NO . 1 ( hereinafter referred to as the "District" ) ; and ,

WHEREAS , said legislative body did call for and order to be held
12 an election to submit to the qualified voters of the District a
proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness secured by a special
13 tax levy to pay for certain capital Facilities in the District ;
and ,

WHEREAS , at this time said election has been held , the City Clerk
15 has submitted the Certificate of City Clerk and Statement of
Votes Cast pertaining to said election , and this legislative body
16 does desire to declare the favorable results of the election in
accordance with the authorization of Section 22932 of the
17 Elections Code of the State of California .
18 NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED , by the City Council of the
City of San Jacinto , in regular session this 8th day of
19 September , 1987 as follows :
20 1 . That the above recitals are all true and correct .
21 2 . That this legislative body hereby receives and approves the
CERTIFICATE OF CITY C'_ ERK AND STATEMENT OF VOTES CAST , as
22 submitted by the City Clerk , said Statement setting forth the
number of votes cast in the election , the measure voted upon ,
23
and the number of votes given for and/or against the measure
voted upon . A copy of said Certificate and Statement is
24 attached hereto , marked Exhibit " A " , referenced and so
25 incorporated .
3 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed , pursuant to the provi -
26
sions of Section 22933 of the Elections Code of the State of
California , to enter in the minutes the results of said STATE-
27 MENT OF VOTES CAST .
28 4 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
29 Resolution .
30 MOVED , PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETING OF SAID CITY
31 COUNCIL duly held the 8th day of September , 1987 .
