1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO ,
CALIFORNIA , MAKING APPOINTMENTS IN A COMMUNITY FACILITIES
2 DISTRICT
3 THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED WITH REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING
FACTSe
WHEREAS , the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CA�IFORNIA,
6 ( hereinafter referred to as the " legislative body of the local
Agency " ) , desires to initiate proceedings to create a Community
6 Facilities District pursuant to the terms and provisions of the
" Mello- Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982 " , being Chapter 2 . 5,
7 Part 1 , Division 2 , Title 5 of the Government Cade of the State
of California . This Community Facilities District shall herein-
8 after be referred to as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO . I
( SOBOBA SPRINGS ) ( hereinafter referred to as the " District " ) ;
9 ( and ,
10 WHEREAS , at this time , the City is desirous of making the
required appointments and designating persons to perform certain
11 duties , in order to allow the proceedings to go forward to
12 completion in accordance with the provisions of law .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED , by the City Council of
13 the City of San Jacinto , in regular session , this 30th day of
14 June, 1987 as follows :
1 . That the above recitals are all true and correct .

16 2 . That throughout the course of these proceedings , the City
Council of the City of San Jacinto will be acting as the
17 legislative body of Community Facilities District No . 1
( Soboba Springs ) , a legally constituted governmental entity
18 as defined by Section 53312 of the Government Code of the
State of California .
19 3 . That the HEMET NEWS is hereby designated as the newspaper for
all publications as required by law and as necessary for
20
completion of this District .
21 4 . That KADIE - JENSEN. & JOHNSON is hereby appointed to act as
22 Special Tax Consultant , and as said Special Tax Consultant
shall perform all of the duties and responsibilities as it
23 relates to the establishment of the rate and method of
apportionment for the special tax for the District and will
24 assist in the preparation of terms and conditions for sale of
bonds to issue for said District .
2`' 5 . That THOMAS F . WHITE & CO . , INC . is hereby appointed to act
26 as Underwriter for purposes of said proceedings and to submit
a purchase agreement for the sale of bonds , said final
27 purchase agreement to be subject to approval by this legisla -
tive body before any final sale of bonds .
28 6 . That BROWN & DIVEN , Attorneys at Law , is hereby appointed to
29 act as Bond Counsel for the purposes of preparing proceedings
and issuing an approving opinion attesting to the validity of
30 the proceedings and the enforceability of the bonds .
31 7 , The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution .
