3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO APPROVING
THE REVISED AND UPDATED COMPREHENSIVE
4 GENERAL PLAN FOR THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
AND COMPLE'I'ING THE FIRST GENERAL PLAN CYCLE
5 OF 1987 .
G THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY
7 RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
$ WHEREAS , the Government Code of the State of California
requires the City to adopt a General Plan ,

WHEREAS, the General Plan must be kept current as to
10 State Law and as to local Planning Policy.
11 WHEREAS, the last Comprehensive General Plan for the
City was adopted in 1977 .
12 WHEREAS , the Planning Commission and the City Council
13 held extensive Public Hearing on the General Plan after
months of Citizen and Committee input .
14 WHEREAS, the City Council closed the public hearing on
15 June 10, 1986 and approved the Plan on June 24 , 1986 and
directed staff to finalize the document in accordance with
16 their direction after the public hearing .
17 WHEREAS , StafE has finalized the document in accordance
with Council instructions .
18 NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
19 the City of San Jacinto that Exhibit "A" , on file in the City
Clerk ' s office , is adopted as the revised and updated General
20 Plan for the City of San Jacinto ,
21 MOVED, PASSEL) AND ADOPTED the 5th day of May 1987.
