A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
1 OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA� OPPOSING THE
CONSTRUCTION OF AN AIRPORT AT THE RENO
2 INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTER IN THE CITY OF
MORENO VALLEY

4 WHEREAS., the Berizeevi Cohen Corp . Project includes a ma ;or
Air Facility at the North End of the San Jacinto Valley; and

WHEREAS� the proposed pAir Facility will be designed to
6 to handle up, to and including 747 ' s -4 and,
7 WHEREASa flight pattern approaches over the communities of
Sari Jacinto and Hemet will be at 3000 -feet: Air--'To-Ground
8 altltUdo', and
9 WHEREAS, representatives from March AFB, Norton AFB, Hemet —
Ryan Airport and Redlands Airport expressed their concern with
10 possible air-space congestion, mid-air conflict and other aspects
of the proposed development ; and

WHEREAS., the proposed airpcirt may affect the Safety and
12 operation of the California Division of Forestry Fire Air Attack
Base at Hemet-Ryan Airportg avid

WHEREASr the quality of life, the freedom from noisy and

sacrificed .

NOW THEREFORE® BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
16 city of san Jacinto in its regular ees7sion of April 7, 19871
r-Lquest the Federal Aviation Administration, Air Traffic_ Division
17 Una State of California , the City of Moreno Valley Planning
Commi5sion and City Council to deny approval of the constructicin
18 of an airport at the Moreno International Trade center .
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk, Provide a copy
