A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ALL RUBBISH
AND REFUSE UPON AND ALL NEEDS GROWING UPON SPEC-
IFIED STREETS AND PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHIN SAID
1 CITY TO BE PUBLIC NUISANCES AND DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO REMOVE AND ABATE THE SAME UNDER AND
2 I€+1 ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 4,
DIVISION 3, PART 3, CHAPTER 139 ARTICLE E, OF
3 THE GOVERNMENT CODE
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO ASSEMBLED IN

17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Cite Council at the tirse
of its regular meeting on April E1 , 19G7 at 7 . 30 p .m. in the
18 CrararrCi1 Chambers in the C Ly Hall of said City, to hear an d
consider all objections to the proposed removal of weeds,
19 rubbish and refuse.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clark shall cer ,ify
to the adoption of this ra<sealtaticro and c�=ause, it to be

RESOLUTION NO. 1693
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTOo CALIFORNIA,, OPPOSING THE
CONSTRUCTION OF AN AIRPORT AT THE MO ENO
21 INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTER IN THE CITY OF
MORENO VALLEY

4 WHEREASr the Benzeevi Cohen Carp . Project includes a major
Air Facility at the North 'End of the San Jacinto Valley; and
5
WHEREASv the proposed Al,r Facility will be designed to
6 to handle up to and Including 747 ' s; and
WHEREASv flight pattern approaches over the communities of
Ban Jacinto and Hemet Will be at 3000 'Feet Air-Eo-Ground
8 altitude, and
9 WHEREAS, representatives from March AFB, Norton Hemet-
Ryan Airport and Redlands Airport expressed their concern with
10 possible airspace congestion, mid-air- conflict and othe)- aspects
o"r the P-oposed development ; and

WHEREAS7 the proposed airport MaV affect the safety and
12 operation of the California Division or. For-entry Fire Air AttaCk,
Base at Hemet-Ryan Airport ; and
13
WHEREAS the quality of life, the freedom -from noise and
14 pollution we cherish in the San Jacinto Valley should riot be
sacrificed .

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
16 City of San 1-jacir)tD in its regular- session of April 71 19B7,
rea'uest the Federal Aviation (Administration ,, Air Traffic Division
17 thE, State of California , the City of Moreno Valley Planning
Commission and City Council to deny approval of the construc.tion
18 of an airport at the Moreno International Trade center .
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk provide a copy
of this resolution to the City (,-jf Moreno Valley , River-sides County
20 Board of Supervisors, City cef Hemet , City of Redlands , Federal
Aviation Administration, State of California and Bz-nzppvj. Cohen
21 Corp .
