3 A RES013U1'ION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO APPROVING AN
4 AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO THIRD CYCLE OF
5 CALENDAR YEAR 1988 .
6 THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :

WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides
8 that no mandatory element of a General Plan shall be amended
more frcqt.ienL.-1y than four times during any
y calendar year , and
9 that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto is amending
the G'crieral. Plan for the third time this year .

WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing
11 re(jarding General Plan Amendment 4--88 and General Plan
Amendment 5-- 88 on July 5, 1988, which cases contained
12 proposals to amend the Land Use Element and Circulation
Element of the General Plan of the City of San Jacinto .

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made recommendations to
14 the City Counc.11 concerning amendments and has filed reports
15 with the City COUDCil .
WHEREAS, The Ctty Council on September 6, 1988 held a
16 public hearing regarding General Plan A' mendment 4-88, and on
A ic 1 just 16 , 1988 held a public hearing reqardinq General Plan
17 Amendment 5-88 ,

19 WHEREAS, the City Counc.1.1. made the determination that ;
A. The existing land uses will be enhanced by approving
20 General Plan Amendment 4 88, and General Plan Amendment 5--88 .
21 B, These amendments will enhance the logical growth of
Asathe City .

C. Reasonable and proper use of the property will- be
established by this resolution .
241 D. Negative Declaration were granted on all three
25 Proposals -
WHEREAS, the city Council reviewed each Planning

Commission recommendation including their Findings of Fact .
271 WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on General
Plan Amendment 4-88, and General Plan Amendment. 5-88 , were
23 published in accordance with Article 6 ., Chapter 3, of Title
29 7 , of the Government Code; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, that the Land Use Elei-nent of the
2 General Plan is amended In accordance willh Exhibit A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Circulation E I einen t of the
C General Plan is amended In accordance w1th Exhibit B.
51 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Council incorporates by
reference the Findings of Fact recommended by the Planning
fi Cowission pertaining to General Plan Amendment 4-88 , and
General- Plan AinendinenL 5--88 .
