3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DECLARING ITS
4 INTENTION TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN
MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
5 INHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS
ANNEXATION NO. 70

7 WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the
City of San Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will
9 contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide proper
control of street layouts, sanitary sewer and water design
10 and to insure proper use of land in conformity with the
General Plan.

NOW THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

1. The City Council of the City of San Jacinto
13 proposes to initiate on its own motion proceedings to annex
to the City of San Jacinto all the territory hereinafter
14 described on Exhibit "A" as inhabited territory pursuant to
the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act.

2 . That the territory which the Council proposes to
16 annex shall be identified as Annexation No. 70.
17 3 . That the City Manager, or his designated
representative, is hereby authorized to file with the Local
18 Agency Formation Commission the appropriate application and
sign any and all documents therefore.

MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED on the 19th day of March,
20 1991.
