1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INITIATE ON
2 ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN
INHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 71

4 WHEREAS, some property owners desire annexation to the City
of San Jacinto; and

WHEREAS, annexation to the City of San Jacinto will
6 contributeto the orderly growth of the City, provide proper
control of street layouts , sanitary sewer and water design
7 and to insure proper use of land in conformity with the
General Flan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

1. The City Council of the City of San Jacinto proposes
10 to initiate on its own motion proceedings to annex to the City
of San Jacinto all the territory hereinafter described on
11 Exhibit "A" as inhabited territory pursuant to the provisions
12 of the municipal Organization Act .
2 . That the territory which the Council proposes to annex
13 shall be identified as Annexation No. 71.
14 3 . That the City Manager, or a designated representative,
is hereby authorized to file with the Local Agency Formation
15 Commission the appropriate application and sign any and all
16 documents therefore.
17 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED on the 21st day of may, 1991 .
