1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF A "MELLO-ROOS COMMUNITY
2 FACILITIES ACT OF 1982 " SPECIAL TAX AND BOND AUTHORIZATION
ELECTION

THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED WITH REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING
4 FACTS :
5 WHEREAS , the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SAN JACINTO ,
CALIFORNIA, ( hereinafter referred to as the " legislative body of
6 the local Agency" ) , has previously declared its intention and
held and conducted proceedings relating to the annexation of
7 territory to an existing Community Facilities District pursuant
to the terms and provisions of the "Mello-Roos Community Facili-
8 ties Act of 1982 " , being Chapter 2 . 5 , Part 1 , Division 2 , Title
5 of the Government Code of the State of California, and specifi-
9 cally Article 3 . 5 thereof . The existing Community Facilities
District has been designated as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT
10 NO . 3 ( hereinafter referred to as the "District" ) ; and,
11 WHEREAS, the area proposed to be annexed is known and desig-
nated as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO . 3 , ANNEXATION NO. 2
12 ( hereinafter referred to as the "annexed territory" ) ; and,
13 WHEREAS, said legislative body did call for and order to be
held an election to submit to the qualified voters of the
14 annexed territory a proposition to levy a special tax in the
annexed territory; and,
15 WHEREAS , at this time said election has been held and the
16 measure voted upon did receive the favorable 2/3 ' s vote of the
qualified voters , and this legislative body does desire to
17 declare the favorable results of the election in accordance with
the authorization of Section 22932 of the Elections Code of the
18 State of California.
19 NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of San Jacinto, in regular session, this 2nd day of July,
20 1991 , as follows :
21 1 . That the above recitals are all true and correct .
22 2 . That this legislative body hereby receives and approves the
CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION OFFICIAL AND STATEMENT OF VOTES
23 CAST , as submitted by the City Clerk, said Statement setting
forth the number of votes cast in the election , the measure
24 voted upon, and the number of votes given for and/or against
the measure voted upon. A copy of said Certificate and
25 Statement is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" , referenced
and so incorporated.
26 3 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to enter in the
27 minutes of this meeting the results of the election and the
STATEMENT OF VOTES CAST .
28 4 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
29 Resolution .
