A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BAN JACINTO CLARIFYING
EXEMPTIONS TO THE OPEN SPACE
DESIGNATION ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION
NO. 1906
WHEREAS, on August 7, 1990, the City Council adopted
Resolution 1906 amending the General Plan by creating a
Temporary Open Space Designation as defined by Exhibit "A"
attached;
WHEREAS, the staff reports to the Planning Commission
and City Council recommended the exemption of all development
that had previously been approved, from this open space
designation;
WHEREAS, the aforesaid staff reports recommended the
exemption of development that had been submitted for
processing prior to August 7 , 1990, from this open space
designation, provided the plans were required to conform to
the yet to be adopted NorthWest Plan;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1922 extended the open space
designation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the
City of San Jacinto does hereby resolve as follows:
1. The Projects noted on Exhibit "B" are exempt from the
open space designation
2 . The projects noted on Exhibit "C" are exempt from open
space designation provided they conform to the
ultimate approved NorthWest Plan
3 . Projects in Exhibits "B" and "C" may proceed through
the Final Map and development stages in accordance
with their Conditions of Approval and approved Public
Improvement Plans.
