A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT
OF THE SAN JACINTO GENERAL PLAN FOR THE SECOND CYCLE OF
1991
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS;
WHEREAS, Section 65631 of the Government Code provides that no mandatory
element of a General Plan shall be amended more frequently than four times during
any calendar year, and that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto is amending
the Land Use Element of the San Jacinto General Plan for the second time during
the 1991 calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of San Jacinto held a public hearing on November 5,
1991 and made a determination that the Land Use Element of the San Jacinto
General Plan should be amended as follows:
A. Existing land use patterns will be enhanced by GPA 2-91 as designated on
Exhibit A.
B. GPA 2-91 will enhance the logical development of the City.
C. GPA 2-91 allow reasonable and proper use of property in the vicinity of the
amendment.
WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on GPA 2-91 was published in
accordance with Article 6, Chapter 3, Title 7, of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there will not be a significant impact upon
the environment by right of this change and adopts a Negative Declaration for
General Plan Amendment 2-91
THEREFORE, the land use element of the General Plan is amended in accordance
with Exhibit A.
INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the said City Council of the 5th day of
November, 1991. by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Ford, Leahy, Richards, Boykin
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: Councilmember Hafliger
MOVED, PASSED, AND ADOPTED the 5th day of November, 1991.
