A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA
IN SUPPORT OF THE VALLEY GANG TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Valley is experiencing problems
caused by gang related activities; and
WHEREAS, the Mission of the City of San Jacinto calls for
providing a safe and healthy community, and to promote pride in San
Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, attention needs to be drawn to, and action taken on
this issue; and
WHEREAS, the City has joined together with other public and
private agencies to address these problems; and
WHEREAS, the Valley Gang Task Force is sponsoring a series of
community town meetings to address these concerns; and
WHEREAS, these meetings are intended to enable the citizenry
to be a part of the solution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of San Jacinto does hereby endorse this process and encourages
the participation of all concerned citizens of the City of San
Jacinto.
