A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA., INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE FORMATION OF A
CITYWIDE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING
AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972.
The City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California, does
resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council is considering and, therefore,
proposes to form an assessment district pursuant to the
Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (Section 22500 and following,
Streets and Highways Code) for the purpose of the following
improvements:
Maintaining and servicing street lighting, street trees,
parkways, median islands, and city parks.
Section 2. The proposed assessment district shall be
designated as Landscaping, Lighting and Park District No. 1,
City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, and shall include the
land within the city limits of the City of San Jacinto.
Section 3. GFB-Friedrich & Assoc., Inc. is hereby designated
engineer for the purpose of these formation proceedings. The
City Council hereby directs the engineer to prepare and file with the
City Clerk a report in accordance with Article 4 of Chapter 1 of the
Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972.
Section 4. The Mayor shall sign this resolution and the City Clerk
shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption thereof.
