2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 SAN JACINTO DECLARING THE POLICE K-9 DOG RETIRED
4 FROM ACTIVE SERVICE AND AUTHORIZING SAID K-9 DOG
5 TO BE SOLD FOR THE SUM OF ONE DOLLAR ($1 . 00)
6 UNITED STATES CURRENCY TO THE CURRENT HANDLER.

9 WHEREAS, from time to time specialized programs
10 within the city may be required to be terminated for
11 various reasons, and;
12 WHEREAS, the present K-9 dog, Fedor V. Remanshoeve,
13 born July 14 , 1983 , after an honorable career is of the
14 age of retirement, and;
15 WHEREAS, as a result of the K-9 dog having had
16 specialized training requiring special handling and
17 unable to be placed in the normal process of city
18 property disposal ,
19 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the
20 City of San Jacinto does hereby declare K-9 dog Fedor V.
21 Remanshoeve "retired with honorable service" and placed
22 in the custody of Mr. Howard Ballard in accordance with
23 the terms and conditions agreed upon between the City of
24 San Jacinto and Mr . Ballard.
25 MOVED, PASSED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
26 the City Council on the 15th day of December
27 1992 by the following vote :
28 AYES : Councilmembers Ford, Leahy, Solorio & Mayor Hafliger
29 NOES :
None
30 ABSENT:Councilmember Williams
