A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN JACINTO
FINANCING AUTHORITY APPROVING A CHANGE
TO THE FREQUENCY AND LOCATION OF
REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE SAN JACINTO
FINANCING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto is a municipal corporation duly organized
and existing pursuant to the laws of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Financing Authority is an affiliated entity of the City
of San Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, the Financing Authority is required under the Brown Act to establish
the regular meetings of the San Jacinto Financing Authority by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Board of the Directors of the San Jacinto Financing Authority
wishes to change the frequency and location of the regular meetings of the San Jacinto
Financing Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED determined and ordered by the Board
of the Directors of the San Jacinto Financing Authority:
SECTION 1. Recitals. The Recitals preceding this Resolution are true and
correct and are incorporated into this Resolution.
SECTION 2. Meeting Frequency. In accordance with the Brown Act, the Board
of the Directors of the San Jacinto Financing Authority hereby elects to change the
frequency of the regular meetings of the Financing Authority to the first Tuesday of
every month.
SECTION 3. Location of Meetings. Regular and special meetings of the San
Jacinto Financing Authority shall be held at the San Jacinto Unified School District
Board Room, 2045 South San Jacinto Avenue, San Jacinto, California 92583, unless
the call of the special meetings indicates another location. Regular and special
meetings may, from time to time, be adjourned to another location.
SECTION 4. Implementation. The Board of the Directors of the San Jacinto
Financing Authority hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to take any action
and execute any documents necessary to carry out the purposes of this Resolution.
SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this Resolution or the application of
any such provision to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall
not affect other provisions or applications of this Resolution that can be given effect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
Resolution are severable. The Board of the Directors of the San Jacinto Financing
Authority declares that the Board of the Directors of the San Jacinto Financing Authority
would have adopted this Resolution irrespective of the invalidity of any particular portion
of this Resolution.
SECTION 6. Certification. Board Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
SECTION 7. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED, at a special meeting of the Financing
Authority on the 16th day of December, 2014, by the following vote:
