A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY APPROVING AND TRANSMTTING ITS REPORT ON
AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE
SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
the City Council of the City of 'San Jacinto, California (the "City
Council") did duly pass and adopt Ordinance No. 754 on June 28, 1983, and did thereby
adopt and approve the Redevelopment Plan for the San Jacinto Redevelopment Project (the
"Redevelopment Plan"); and
S, Amendment No. 1 to the Redevelopment Plan was approved by the
City Council by Ordinance No. 992 which was duly passed and adopted on December 28,
1993, which, among other things added certain territory to the boundaries of the San
Jacinto Redevelopment Project(the "Project Area"); and
on December 20, 1994, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1006
and thereby amended the Redevelopment Plan in order to conform to the requirements of
Section 33333.6 of the Community Redevelopment Law, California Health and Safety Code
Sections 33000, et seq. (the "CRL") (the Redevelopment Plan as amended by Amendment
No. 1 and Ordinance No. 1006 will be referred to herein as the "Amended Redevelopment
Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") has prepared
Amendment No. 3 to the Amended Redevelopment Plan ("Amendment No. 3") in
compliance with the CRL; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of Amendment No. 3 is to delete certain territory from the
boundaries of the Project Area; and
WHEREAS, CRL Section 33457.1 states that every redevelopment plan
amendment must be accompanied by a report to the legislative body that contains the
information called for in CRL Section 33352 to the extent warranted by the proposed
amendment; and
REAS, the Agency has prepared its report to the City Council as required by
law.
NOW, THEREFORE9 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SAN JACINTO
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to CRL Section 33457.1, the Agency has prepared its
Report to the City Council for the San Jacinto Redevelopment Project, Amendment No. 3
(the "Report"), which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by
reference.
SECTION 2. The Agency hereby approves its Report.
SECTION 3. The Executive Director of the Agency is hereby authorized and
directed to transmit the Report to the City Council.
- SECTION 4. The Secretary shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.
