A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RATI-
FYING AND APPROVING DISTRIBUTION OF A DRAFT REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN TO PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS OF THE PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE
FOR THE PROPOSED SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT,AMEND-
MENT NO. 1
WHEREAS,the Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto has approved
a Preliminary Plan and has adopted the boundaries of an area to be added to the San
Jacinto Redevelopment Project (the "Project Amendment Area"); and
WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Project and the proposed Amend-
ment Area include residential units which are believed to be occupied by persons or
families of low- or moderate-income; and
WHEREAS, full implementation of the San Jacinto Redevelopment Project as
proposed to be amended could cause the displacement of some of the residents in the
Project Area; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with applicable provisions of the California Health
and Safety Code, the City Council called for the creation of a Project Area Committee;
and
WHEREAS,at the Project Area Committee formation meeting,the Agency shall
have available and shall distribute copies of the Redevelopment Plan (or pertinent
portions thereof), to those present at the formation meeting.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the San Jacinto Redevelop-
ment Agency as follows:
SECTION 1: The Draft Redevelopment Plan for the San Jacinto Redevel-
opment Project,Amendment No. 1 is not in its complete form and has not been approved
by this Agency or by the San Jacinto City Council.
SECTION 2: The Draft Redevelopment Plan for the San Jacinto Redevel-
opment Project,Amendment No. 1 is hereby approved for the sole purpose of distribu-
tion to the persons`interested in participating on the Project Area Committee with the
understanding that the purpose of the Committee, once formed,will be to advise this
Agency and the City Council on matters affecting the existing Project Area ,and
Amendment Area including the text of the Redevelopment Plan for said areas.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of July, 1993.
