1 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE
2 NEED FOR AN INDUSTRIAL AUTHORITY TO FUNCTION IN
THE REDEVELOPMENT AREA

WHEREAS, the California Industrial Development Financing
4
Act (Title 10 of the Government Cade) of the State of California,
5 authorizes a Redevelopment Agency to create an Industrial
6 Authority; and
7
WHEREAS, Section 91520 of the Govt. Code of the State of
8 California provides that the Redevelopment Agency may declare
g the need for an Industrial Authority to function in that
10 community;
11 NOW, THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF

12 SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San
14 Jacinto hereby declares from and after the effective date of
15 this resolution that there is a need for an Industrial Authority
10 to function in the community.

17 Section 2. The Industrial Authority shall have the power
18 to provide industry with alternate methods of financing for
10 acquisition, construction, and rehabilitation of facilities
in accordance with the criteria set forth in Section 91502.1
70 of the Govt. Code, including the power to issue bonds.

22 Section 3. The jurisdiction of the industrial Authority
shall be coincident to the boundaries of the Redevelopment Ager.cv
23 unless the City of San Jacinto or the County of Riverside
24 authorize its activities outside its defined boundaries for
95 purposes benefiting the Redevelopment Agency. Such benefit
shall include but not be limited to job creation and elimination
26 of blight.

28I Section 4. Pursuant to Section 91523 of the Govt. Code,
the Redevelopment Agency hereby appoints itself as the governing
)0 board of Industrial Authority. Pursuant to Section. 91524 , the

1) Shall elect a Chairperson at its first Regular
Meeting.
2 2) Shall appoint by resolution at its first Regular
3 Meeting a Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive
Director. Said resolution shall be on file
4 with the Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency.
Section 5. The Industrial Authority shall be governed
5 by Title 10 of the Govt. Code and all other applicable laws.
