RESOLUTION NO. RDA-89-4
1 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHOR-
2 IZING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR A POTENTIAL
FINANCING DISTRICT
THIS RESOLUTION IS ADOPTED WITH REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING FACTS:
WHEREAS, property owners within that portion of the City
5 described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
by this reference have asked the City to undertake proceedings
to form a district to finance the cost of providing necessary
flood control and drainage facilities to serve and benefit the
7 properties wtihin the area of the proposed district; and,

S WHEREAS, these property owners have expressed a willingness
to finance a study which would include, but not be limited to,
9 a determination of the feasibility of establishing such a
financing district, the appropriate boundaries for such a finan-
10 cing district, the appropriate costs of the facilities to be
financed and the most appropriate form of district for accom-
11 plishing this financing; and,
12 WHEREAS, this Redevelopment Agency is willing to authorize
such a feasibility study to be conducted at the sole expense
13 of such property owners.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of San Jacinto, in regular session, this

1G! 1. The above recitals are all true and correct.
1 1, 2. This Redevelopment Agency hereby authorizes the City Manager
to conduct or cause to be conducted a study of the feasi-
18' bility of establishing a district to finance the provision
of necessary flood control and drainage facilities for that
19 portion of the City generally described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto.

3. Such feasibility study shall be conducted solely at the
21 expense of the property owners within the area set forth
in Exhibit "A" . In the event that a financing district
for such improvements is ultimately formed, the property
owners who have advanced funds to finance the feasibility
23 study shall be eligible for reimbursement of such advances
from the proceeds of any bonds sold for such financing
24 district. The City shall have no obligation to reimburse
the property owners for such advances except from such bond
25 proceeds.

261 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
27 Resolution.
