A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
3 OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE
` 4 CITY OF SAN JACINTO FIRST CYCLE OF
` CALENDAR YEAR 1989 .

THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides
i S that no mandatory element of a General Plan shall be amended
more frequently than four times during any calendar year, and
9 that the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY of the City of San Jacinto is
amending the General Plan for the first time this year.
10 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing
11 regarding General Plan Amendment 1-89, which case contained
A proposal to amend the Land Use Element.
121 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made recommendations to
the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY concerning amendments and has filed
131 reports with the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
141 WHEREAS, The REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY on March 7, 1969
W held a public hearing regarding General Plan Amendment 1-89.

l�� WHEREAS, the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY made the determination
that:
1% A. The existing land uses will be enhanced by approving
General Plan Amendment 1-89.

B. These amendments will enhance the logical growth of
10' the City.

C. Reasonable and proper use of the property will be
21'� established by this resolution.
D. Negative Declaration was granted for this proposal .

WHEREAS, the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY reviewed each Planning
3' Commission recommendation including their Findings of Fact.
24 WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on General
Plan Amendment 1-89 was published in accordance with Article
2i1 6, Chapter 3, of Title 7, of the Government Code;
26! NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, that the Land Use Element
271 of the General Plan is amended in accordance with Exhibit A.

1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY incorporates by
reference the Findings of Fact recommended by the Planning Commission
2 pertaining to General Plan Amendment 1-89.
3 MOVED, PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of March 1989 by the follow-
ing vote:
