A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
3 OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE
4 CITY OF SAN JACINTO THIRD CYCLE OF
CALENDAR YEAR 1988.
THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES
6 HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, Section 65361 of the Government Code provides
3 that no mandatory element of a General Plan shall be amended
more frequently than four times during any calendar year, and
that the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY of the City of San Jacinto is
9 amending the General Plan for the third time this year.
10 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing
11 regarding General Plan Amendment 4-88 and General Plan
Amendment 5-88 on July 5, 1968, which cases contained
l2 proposals to amend the Land Use Element and Circulation
Element of the General Plan of the City of San Jacinto.
13 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made recommendations to
the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY concerning amendments and has filed

reports with the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
15 WHEREAS, The REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY on September 6, 1988
held a public hearing regarding General Plan Amendment 4-88,
16 and on August 16, 1988 held a public hearing regarding
17 General Plan Amendment 5-88.
13 WHEREAS, the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY made the determination
]9 that:
�0 A. The existing land uses will be enhanced by approving
General Plan Amendment 4-88, and General Plan Amendment 5-88.
21I B. These amendments will enhance the logical growth of
22I the City.
C. Reasonable and proper use of the property will be
23, established by this resolution.
241 D. Negative Declaration were granted on all three
25i proposals.
2G'' WHEREAS, the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY reviewed each Planning
Commission recommendation including their Findings of Fact.
27 WHEREAS, advertisement for a public hearing on General
Plan Amendment 4-86, and General Plan Amendment 5-88 were

published in accordance with Article 6, Chapter 3, of Title
29 7, of the Government Code; and

2 ( NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, that the Land Use Element
3 - of the General Plan is amended in accordance with Exhibit A.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Circulation Element of the
5 General Plan is amended in accordance with Exhibit B.
6 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
incorporates by reference the Findings of Fact recommended by
7 the Planning Commission pertaining to General Plan Amendment
4-88, and General Plan Amendment 5-88.
