REOUESTING AND CONSENTING TO HOLDING A. JOINT SPECIAL
3 PUBLIC' HEARING TO CONSIDER;FINAL APPROVAL AND ADOPTION
OF THE SOBOBA SPRINGS REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PROJECT
4 AREA: AND APPROVAL AND CERTIFICATION OF THE FINAL
ENVIRONMENTAL IPiPACT REPORT

WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency has prepared a proposed
6 Redevelopment Plan for the Soboba Springs Redevelopment Project Area and trans-
mitted said documents to the Planning Commission for its report and recommend-
7 ation; and
8 !JHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto has prepared a written report pursuant
to the Environmental Ouality Act of 1970, as amended, regarding the environ-
9 mental impact of the proposed Redevelopment Plan; and
10 !!HEREAS, on September 27, 1983, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency
adopted Resolution No. RDA-83-11 entitled:

JECT AREA SUBJECT TO FURTHE. REVIEW AND PUBLIC HEAPING: DIRECT-
13 ING THE SECRETARY OF THE AGENCY TO TRANSMIT REQUIRED REDEVELOP-
MENT DOCUMENTS TO THE APPROPRIATE COUNTY AND STATE AGENCIES:
14 APPROVING THE DRAFT ENVIROWENTAL IMPACT REPORT: AND DIRECTING
STAFF TO TRANSMIT THE REQUIRED NOTICE OF COMPLETION"

N'HEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Section 33355 and
16 33458 of the California Health and Safety Code) authorized a joint public
hearing on the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Soboba Springs Project Area
17 with the consent of the City Council of the City of San Jacinto and the San
Jacinto Redevelopment Agency.

Nn,.11, THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY THE SAN
19 JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:
20 Section 1 . The San Jacinto "edevelopment Agency hereby consents to a
joint public hearing with the San Jacinto City Council to consider adoption
21 of the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Soboba Springs °edevelopment Pro-
ject Area and the approval and certification of the final Environmental Impact
22 Report, the time, date and place for such hearing to be determined by the
San Jacinto City Council .

Section 2. The Executive Director of the San Jacinto Redevelopment
24 Agency, upon receipt of evidence that the San Jacinto City Council has con-
sented to a joint public hearing and established a date therefore shall,

a) Publish the notice of said joint public hearing once per week for
26 four (4) consecutive weeks in the Hemet News, said publication
being a newspaper of general circulation within the San Jacinto
27 community.
28 b) "ail the notice of said joint public hearing_ to the last known
assessee of each parcel of land in the area designated in the
29 aforesaid redevelopment project plan at his last known address
as shoo-in on the last equalized assessment roll of the County of
30 riverside; or the owner of each parcel of land within such
boundaries as such ownership is shown on the records of said
31 County, recorded thirty (30) days prior to the date the notice
is published. Copies of the notices shall also be mailed to the
32 governing body of each of the taxing agencies which levies taxes

I upon any property in the project area designated in the proposed
Redevelopment Plan for the Soboba Springs Redevelopment Project
2 Area.
3 Section 3. The Executive Director shall forthwith transmit a copy Of
this Resolution to the ban Jacinto City Council and to the Planning Commission
4 of the City of San Jacinto.
5 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this eth day of Movember 1983.
