2 A RESOLUTION OF THE'SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY PRELIMINARILY APPROVING THE SOBOBA
3 SPRINGS REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PROJECT AREA
SUBJECT TO FURTHER REVIEW AND PUBLIC HEARING;
4 DIRECTING THE SECRETARYOF THE AGENCY TO TRANSI?IT
REQUIRED REDEVELOPMENT DOCUMENTS TO APPROPRIATE
5 COUNTY AND STATE AGENCIES; APPROVING THE DRAFT
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT AND DIRECTING STAFF
6 TO TRANSMIT THE REQUIRED NOTICE OF COMPLETION
7 WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency has prepared a proposed
Redevelopment Plan for the Soboba Springs Redevelopment Project Area and in-
8 tends to submit same to the Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto; and
9 'AHEREAS, the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Soboba Springs Redevelop-
ment Project Area, including the project area's legal description, is on file
10 in the office of the City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto and is incorporated
herein by reference; and

HHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto has prepared a written report pursuant
12 to the Environmental Quality Act, as amended, regarding the environmental im-
13 pact of the proposed Redevelopment Plan and Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency on the 27th day of Septem-
14 bar 1983, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., held a public meeting to consider the
Soboba Springs Redevelopment Plan and Project Area and approve a draft Environ
15 mental Impact Report relating to said Plan; and
16 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33327 of the California Health and Safety
Code, the Redevelopment Agency is required to transmit a letter of their in-
17 tent to adopt a Redevelopment Plan and Project Area to specific State and
18 County agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED ,AND ORDERED BY THE SAN JACINTO
19 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, AS FOLLOWS:
20 Section 1 . The draft Environmental Impact Report for the Soboba Snrings
Redevelopment Plan and Project Area, as proposed, is hereby preliminarily
21 approved.
22 Section 2. The legal description of the Soboba Springs P.edevelopment
Project Area on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of San Jacin-
23 to and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby received and Preliminarily
approved.

Section 3. The proposed draft Soboba Springs Redevelopment Plan and Pro-
25 ject Area, on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto
and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby received and preliminarily
26 approved.
27 Section 4. The San Jacinto 'edevelopment Agency hereby approves and trans-
mits said Plan and Project , rea to the Chief Administrative Officer of the
28 County of Riverside, and the City of San Jacinto Planning Commission for com-
ments and reports.

Section 5. The staff is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and sub
30 mit to this Agency a report relative to said proposed Redevelopment Plan and
Project Area, to process said Plan and Project Area pursuant to the California
31 Community Redevelopment Law, and to process the draft Environmental Impact
Report pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as
32 amended.

1 Section 6. The Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency is hereby author-
ized and directed to transmit a copy of the Resolution with all of its at-
2 tachments and references to the City Council and Planning Commission for such
action as they may;wish to take, and further is directed to forward a copy of
3 this resolution, together with the Agency's Report and Notice of Completion,
to the appropriate County and State Agencies.
4 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of September 1983.
