2 A RESOLUTION OF THE SAP! JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY APPROVING THE SELECTION OF THE BOUNDARIES
3 FOR THE SOBOBA SPRINGS REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
AREA AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY
4 PLAN FOR THE SOBOBA SPRINGS PROJECT AREA
r WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33213 of the California Health and Safety
� , Code, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside did on May 17, 1983
6 adopt Ordinance No. 602 authorizing the City of San Jacinto and the San Jacinto
Redevelopment Agency to undertake redevelopment activities within specifically-
7 designated unincorporated areas of the County of Riverside continuous to the
City of San Jacinto; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jacinto has heretofore adopted
9 Resolution No. 1486 designating Survey Area #2 for redevelopment study pur-
suant to the provisions of the California Community Redevelopment Law; and

WHEREAS. the San Jacinto Planning Commission and the San Jacinto Redevelop
11 ment Agency have cooperatively determined that the area hereinafter described
is a blighted area within the meaning of the California Community Redevelop-
12 ment Law and that the redevelopment of such area is necessary to effectuate
the purposes of the California Community Redevelopment Law. Said area is
13 designated the Soboba Springs Project Area and is located within Survey Area
n2 desionated by the San Jacinto City Council ; and

JHEREAS, the San Jacinto Planning Commission and the San Jacinto Rede-
15 velopment Agency have likewise cooperated in the preparation of the Prelimin-
ary Plan for the Project Area; and

..HEREAS, at a public meeting of the San Jacinto Planning Commission on
17 July 5, 1983, the Commission did consider and review the boundaries of the
Soboba Springs Project Area and the Preliminary Plan and adopted Resolution
18 No. 83-27 approving said boundaries and the Preliminary Plan; and
19 bJHEREAS, at a public meeting of the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency on
this date of July 5, 1983, the Redevelopment Agency did consider and review
20 the boundaries of the Soboba Springs Project Area and the Preliminary Plan.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETEMINED AND ORDERED BY THE SAN JACINTO
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1 . There is hereby approved as the Soboba. Springs Redevelopment
23 Project Area, all of that area, the boundaries of which are described in
Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" which are attached hereto and incorporated
24 herein by reference.
25 Section 2. The Preliminary Plan for the Soboba Springs Redevelopment Pro-
ject Area, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the
26 City of San Jacinto and incorporated herein by reference, is accepted and
approved as the Preliminary Plan for the Soboba Springs Redevelopment Project
27 Area.
28 Section 3. The Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency is directed to
transmit to the County of Riverside, affected taxing agencies, and to the
29 State Board of Equalization the documentation as is required pursuant to Sec-
tion 33327 of the California Health and Safety Code.
30 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July 1983.
