2 A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
REQUESTING AND CONSENTING TO HOLDING A JOINT SPECIAL
3i PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER FINAL APPROVAL AND ADOPTION
OF THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PROJECT AREA;
4 AND APPROVAL AND CERTIFICATION OF THE FINIAL ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT REPORT

WHEREAS, the San Jac'nao Redevelopment Agency has prepared a proposed Re-
6j development Plan for the San Jacinto Redevelopment Project Area and transmitted �
said documents to the Planning Commission for their report and recommendat4en;
and
8 WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto has prepared a written report pursuant
to the Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, regarding the environ-
9 mental impact of the proposed Redevelopment Plan; am
10 WHEREAS, on January 18, 1983, the can Jacinto Redevelopment Agency adcpted
Resolution No. 83-1 entitled:

TO TRANSMIT REQUIRED REDEVELOPMENT DOCUMENTS TO THE i
14 APPROPRIATE COUNTY AND STATE AGENCIES; APPROVING THE j
DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT; AND DIRECTING STAFF

16 WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Section 33355 and
3345E of the California Health and Safety Code) authorized a joint public hear-
17 ing on the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the San Jacinto Project Area with
the consent of the City Council of the City of San Jacinto and the San Jacinto
18 Redevelopment Agency.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY THE SAN JACINTO
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1 . The San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency hereby consents to a
21 joint public hearing with the San Jacinto City Council to consider adoption of
the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the San Jacinto Redevelopment Project Area
22 j and the approval and certification of the final Environmental Impact Report,
the time, date and place for such hearing to be determined by the San Jacinto
23 City Council .
24 Section 2. The Executive Director of the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency,
upon receipt of evidence that the San Jacinto City Council has consented to a
25 joint public hearing and established a date thereof shall:
26 a. Publish the notice of said joint public hearing once per week for four
(4) consecutive weeks in the Hemet News, said publication being a
27 newspaper of general circulation within the San Jacinto community.
28 b. Mail the notice of said joint public hearing to the last known assessee
of each parcel of land in the area designated in the aforesaid re-
29 development project Dian at his last known address as shown on the
last equalized assessment roll of the County of Riverside; or to the
30 i owner of each parcel of land within such boundaries as such ownership
is shown on the records of said County, recorded thirty (30) days
31 prior to the date the notice is published. Copies of the notices shall
also be mailed to the governing body of each of the taxing agencies
32 which levies taxes upon any property in the project area designated in

1 the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the San Jacinto Redevelopment Pro-
ject Area.

Section 3. The Executive Director shall ,`orthwith transmit a copy of this 1
3 Resolution to the San Jacinto City Council and to the Planning Ccmmission of they
City of San Jacinto.
