1 RESOLUTION NO. RDA-82-6
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY APPROVING THE SELECTION OF THE BOUND-
3 ) ARIES FOR THE SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
AREA; AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PRELIMIN-
4 ARY PLAN FOR THE SAN JACINTO PROJECT AREA
5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto has heretofore adopted
61 Resolution No. 1457 designating a survey area for redevelopment study pursuant
7 to the provisions of the California Community Redevelopment Law; and
8 WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Planning Commission and the San Jacinto Redevelop-
9 ment Agency have cooperatively determined that the area hereinafter described
J,0 l is a blighted area within the meaning of the California Community Redevelopment
11 Law; and that the redevelopment of such area is necessary to effectuate the pur-
12 , poses of the California Community Redevelopment Law. Said area is designated
13 the San Jacinto Project Area and is located within the Survey Area designated
14 by the San Jacinto City Council; and
15 WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Planning Commission and the San Jacinto Redevelop-
16� ment Agency have likewise cooperated in the preparation of the Preliminary Plan
17 for this Project Area; and
18 WHEREAS, at a public hearing of the San Jacinto Planning Commission on Decem-
19 ber 7, 1982, the Commission did consider and review the boundaries of the San
201I, Jacinto Project Area and the Preliminary Plan and adopted Resolution No. 82-29
21 approving said boundaries and the Preliminary Plan; and
22 WHEREAS, at a public hearing the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency on this
23 date of December 7th, 1982, the Redevelopment Agency did consider and review the
24 boundaries of the San Jacinto Project Area and the Preliminary Plan.
25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY THE SAN JACINTO
26 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, AS FOLLOWS:
27 Section 1 . There is hereby approved as the San Jacinto Redevelopment Pro-
28 Iject Area, all of that area, the boundaries of which are described in Exhibit
29I "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" which are attached hereto and incorporated herein
30 by reference.
31 Section 2. The Preliminary Plan for the San Jacinto Redevelopment Project
32 Area, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by reference, is ac-

11 cepted and approved as the Preliminary Plan for the San Jacinto Redevelopment
2 Project Area.
31 Section 3. The Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency is directed to trans-

4 mit to the County of Riverside, affected taxing agencies and to the State Board
5 of Equalization the documentation as is required pursuant to Section 33327 of
6 the California Health and Safety Code.
7 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December 1982,
