A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
APPROVING THE CHANGE TO THE REGULAR
MEETING TIME OF THE INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO 6:30 P.M. OF THE
FIRST AND THIRD TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto is a municipal corporation duly organized
and existing pursuant to the laws of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Industrial Development Authority is an affiliated entity of the City
of San Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority is
required under the Brown Act to establish the regular meetings of the Industrial
Development Authority by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority
wishes to change the regular meeting time of the Industrial Development Authority to
6:30 p.m. of the first and third Tuesday of every month.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED determined and ordered by the Board
of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority of the City of San Jacinto:
SECTION 1. Recitals. The Recitals preceding this Resolution are true and
correct and are incorporated into this Resolution.
SECTION 2. Election to Change Regular Meeting Time. In accordance with the
Brown Act, the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority hereby elects
to change the regular meeting time of the Industrial Development Authority to 6:30 p.m.
of the first and third Tuesday of every month.
SECTION 3. Implementation. The Board of Directors of the Industrial
Development Authority hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to take any
action and execute any documents necessary to carry out the purposes of this
Resolution.
SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this Resolution or the application of
any such provision to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall
not affect other provisions or applications of this Resolution that can be given effect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
Resolution are severable. The Board of Directors of the Industrial Development
Authority declares that the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority
would have adopted this Resolution irrespective of the invalidity of any particular portion
of this Resolution.
SECTION 5. Certification. Board Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
SECTION 6. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the Industrial
Development Authority on the 20th day of August, 2013, by the following vote:
Ayes: Ledezma, Miller, Ruiz, Bartel
Nays: None
Absent: Kotyuk
Abstain: None
