A RESOLUTION OF THE OVERSIGHT BOARD OF THE SUCCESSOR
AGENCY TO THE DISSOLVED SAN JACINTO REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY, APPROVING AN AMENDED RECOGNIZED OBLIGATION
PAYMENT SCHEDULE FOR THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1, 2012,
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012, PURSUANT TO HEALTH AND SAFETY
CODE SECTION 34177(1)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 34173(d), the City of
San Jacinto ("Successor Agency") is the successor agency to the dissolved San Jacinto
Redevelopment Agency ("RDA"), confirmed by Resolution No. 3408 adopted on
January 9, 2012; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 34179(a), the
Oversight Board is the oversight board to the Successor Agency; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 34177(I)(2), the
Successor Agency previously prepared a draft of the recognized obligation payment
schedule ("DROPS") covering the period from February 1, 2012, through June 30,
2012; and
WHEREAS, the Oversight Board previously reviewed and approved the DROPS
on April 6, 2012, and thereafter submitted the approved DROPS to the Riverside
County Auditor-Controller, the California State Controller, and the DOF; and
WHEREAS, after initial review, the DOF has returned the DROPS to the
Successor Agency in order for the Successor Agency to include the period of January
1, 2012, through January 31, 2012 to the DROPS; and
WHEREAS, the Successor Agency has submitted the final recognized obligation
payment schedule ("ROPS") covering the period from January 1, 2012, through June
30, 2012, to the Oversight Board for review and approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ordered, and determined by the
Oversight Board to the Successor Agency to the dissolved San Jacinto Redevelopment
Agency:
SECTION 1. Recitals. The Recitals preceding this Resolution are true and
correct and are incorporated into this Resolution.

SECTION 2. CEQA Compliance. The approval of the BOPS through this
Resolution does not commit the Oversight Board to any action that may have a
significant effect on the environment. As a result, such action does not constitute a
project subject to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act.
SECTION 3. Approval of the BOPS. The Oversight Board hereby approves and
adopts the Amended ROPS, in substantially the form attached to this Resolution as
Exhibit A, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34177.
SECTION 4. Implementation. The Oversight Board hereby directs the
Successor Agency to take any actions necessary to carry out the purposes of this
Resolution and comply with applicable law, including submission of copies of the ROPS
approved by the Oversight Board to the County of Riverside Auditor-Controller, the
State of California Controller and the State of California Department of Finance after
the effective date of this Resolution, and to post the ROPS on the Successor Agency's
website.
SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this Resolution or the application of
any such provision to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall
not affect other provisions or applications of this Resolution that can be given effect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
Resolution are severable. The Oversight Board declares that the Oversight Board
would have adopted this Resolution irrespective of the invalidity of any particular portion
of this Resolution.
SECTION 6. Certification. The City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto, acting on
behalf of the Oversight Board as its Secretary, shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
SECTION 7. Effective Date. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section
34179(h), all actions taken by the Oversight Board may be reviewed by the State of
California Department of Finance, and, therefore, this Resolution shall not be effective
for five (5) business days, pending a request for review by the State of California
Department of Finance.
