A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
INVESTMENT OF MONIES IN THE LOCAL AGENCY
INVESTMENT FUND
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 730 of the statutes of 1976, Section
16429.1 was added to the California Government Code to create a Local Agency
Investment Fund in the State Treasury for the deposit of money of a local agency for
purposes of investment by the State Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find that the deposit and
withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund in accordance with the
provisions of Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the purpose of investment as
stated therein is in the best interest of the City of San Jacinto and wishes to authorize
the individual(s) listed in this Resolution as officers authorized to order the deposit or
withdrawal of monies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ordered, and determined by the
City Council of the City of San Jacinto:
SECTION 1. Recitals. The Recitals preceding this Resolution are true
and correct and are incorporated into this Resolution.
SECTION 2. Authorization. The City of San Jacinto does hereby
authorize the deposit and withdrawal of City monies in the Local Agency Investment
Fund in the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the
Government Code for the purpose of investment as stated therein, and verification by
the State Treasurer's Office of all banking information provided in that regard.
SECTION 3. Authorized City Officers. The City of San Jacinto does
hereby authorize the following City officers, or their successors in office, to order the
deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund:

SECTION 4. Implementation. The City Council hereby authorizes and
directs the City Manager and City staff to take any action and execute any documents
necessary to carry out the purposes of this Resolution, including but not limited to
sending this Resolution to the California State Treasurer's Office.
SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this Resolution or the
application of any such provision to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Resolution that can be
given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of
this Resolution are severable. The City Council declares that the City Council would
have adopted this Resolution irrespective of the invalidity of any particular portion of this
Resolution.
SECTION 6. Certification. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
SECTION 7. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 21 st day of February, 2012, by the following vote:
