A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER'S CLAIM SETTLEMENT
AUTHORITY FROM $S00 TO $1,000
WHEREAS, from time to time a small number of claims for
an amount between $500 and $1,000 are presented to the City;
WHEREAS, history indicates the belief the City Manager has a
$500 limit for settling these claims. No Resolution has been located
that formalizes this amount;
WHEREAS, time would be saved by staff and citizens by
eliminating the need to Process these claims to the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that we set the amount the City
Manager may authorize for the settlement of claims presented to the
City of San Jacinto at $1,000.
