A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
ADOPTING FINDINGS OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
RELATED TO ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE FOR SAN JACINTO
AMERICAN LEGION POST 848 LOCATED AT 312 E. MAIN STREET
WHEREAS. San Jacinto American Legion Post 848 has submitted an application
to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board (ABC) for on-sale liquor license;
WHEREAS. this application is located in a census tract determined by the ABC to
have "undue concentration";
WHEREAS. the ABC cannot issue this license without a finding of public
convenience and necessity by the City Council;
WHEREAS. the City Council considered this application at its meeting of April 2,
1998 and considered the geographic location of this site compared to other licenses.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That, that based on the foregoing, the City
Council hereby adopts a Resolution of Convenience and Necessity in order to allow the
granting of a general liquor license for San Jacinto American Legion Post 848 at 312 E.

MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the said City Council on
the 2nd day of April, 1998 by the following vote
