A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO ADOPTING FINDINGS OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND
NECESSITY RELATED TO UPGRADE A LIQUOR LICENSE FOR SAN
JACINTO MEAT MARKET LOCATED AT 533 E. MAIN STREET
WHEREAS, San Jacinto Meat Market has submitted an application to the
Alcohol Beverage Control Board (ABC) to upgrade their liquor license from beer and
wine to a general license;
WHEREAS, this application is located in a census tract determined by the ABC
to have "undue concentration":
WHEREAS, the ABC cannot issue this license without a finding of public
convenience and necessity by the City Council;
WHEREAS, the City Council considered this application at its meeting of March
19, 1998 and considered the geographic location of this site compared to other
licenses; the proximity of Mistletoe Park and other testimony;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That, that based on the foregoing, the
City Council hereby adopts a Resolution of Convenience and Necessity in order to
allow the granting of a general liquor license for San Jacinto Meat Market at 533 E.
Main Street.
MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the said City Council
on the 19th day of March, 1998 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Conner , Williams and tlayor Smedley
NOES: Councilmembers Cornett and riood
ABSENT: Bone

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO ORDERING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND TO
FILE A REPORT RELATED TO MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO LANDSCAPING,
LIGHTING AND PARK DISTRICT NO. 1, AND ANY ASSESSMENT
THEREON FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998-99
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of San Jacinto Landscaping, Lighting and Park
District No. 1 was created pursuant to Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways
Code (§§ 22500, et. seq.); and
WHEREAS, California Streets and Highways Code § 22622 provides that this
Council shall adopt a resolution generally describing any proposed new improvements or
substantial changes in existing improvements in such a district and ordering the City Engineer to
prepare and file a report related to annual maintenance and assessment in such a district; and
WHEREAS, no new improvements or substantial changes in existing improvements
are proposed for said Landscaping, Lighting and Park District No. l; and
.� WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have occurred.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, determined and ordered by the City
Council of the City of San Jacinto, as follows:
SECTION 1: The Recitals, as set forth in Part A of this Resolution, are in all
respects true and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Engineer hereby is ordered and directed to prepare an
annual report as specified in California Streets and Highways Code §§ 22565, et seq., with respect
to City of San Jacinto Landscaping, Lighting and Park District No. 1 for Fiscal Year 1998-99.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
