A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO CONFIRMING THE CITY MANAGER
AS AUTHORIZED AGENT HAVING SIGNATURE
AUTHORITY FOR ALL GRANT FUNDING SOURCES
WHEREAS, section 2.12.060 (1) (2) of the San Jacinto Municipal Code
empowers the City Manager to order and purchase all supplies for all departments
and/or divisions of the city; and
WHEREAS, The City of San Jacinto, as a government agency within the
County Riverside, and allotted the rights of available funding sources such as federal,
state or regional grants, does recognize the City Manager as administrator and
director of fiscal resources and all city budgetary benefits and impacts; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find the City Manager exercise final
authority to approve and necessitate financial support from federal, state or regional
grant monies and/or other relevant funding sources; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager acting as Authorized Agent, is empowered to
interpret the benefit of obtaining financial assistance of certain and necessary
projects through federal, state or regional grant monies or other applicable monetary
funding sources for the betterment of the community and its residents; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
San Jacinto, validates and verifies the City Manager as having Signature Authority
representing the City of San Jacinto as Authorized Agent, to possess ultimate
approval authority of obtaining available funding and/or grant monies, is hereby
ratified and confirmed.

PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of San
Jacinto at a scheduled meeting of said Council held on the 4"' day of June, 2009, by
the following vote:
Ayes: Ayres, Di Memmo, Mansperger, Potts, Stubblefield
Nays: None
Absent: None
Abstain: None
