A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto wishes to adopt a budget for the
subsequent fiscal year for estimated revenues and estimated expenditures, and
WHEREAS, Staff has presented an operating and capital budget
containing the General Fund, Special Revenue Funds and Enterprise Funds to
meet the needs of the Citizens of the City of San Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has thoroughly examined and analyzed the
proposed budget in order to meet the needs of the Citizens of the City of San
Jacinto; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto operates on a fiscal year beginning
July I" of each year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of San Jacinto as follows:
Section 1. The budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, a copy of which is on
file in the City Clerk's Office, is hereby adopted with total estimated expenditures
w of $ 25.172,673, to be funded by estimated revenues of $ 18,453,488, use of
available fund balance of $ 4.833,704 and interfund transfers of$ 1 ,885,481.
Section 2. The reallocation of appropriations between departmental
activities may be made by the City Manager. Budget Amendments to the adopted
budget may only be made with the approval and resolution of the City Council.
