A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH
71HE SAN JACINTO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT CONCERNING
THE PLACEMENT OF A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER AND A
DARE OFFICER WITHIN THE SAN JACINTO UNIFIED SCHOOL
DISTRICT.
Whereas, the City of San Jacinto and the San Jacinto Unified School
District desire to cooperatively work together to improve and strengthen law
enforcement on or about the School District's campuses;
Whereas, the placement of a School Resource Officer and a DARE
Officer will insure the greater safety of students, staff, and the public at the
School District campuses;
Whereas, an agreement concerning the placement of a School Resource
Officer and a Dare Officer within the San Jacinto Unified School District has been
developed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, AS FOLLOWS,
Section 1. An Agreement Concerning the Placement of a School
Resource Officer and a Dare Officer within the San Jacinto Unified School
District, attached as Exhibit A to this Resolution, is hereby approved;
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the Agreement
on behalf of the City of San Jacinto.
