A RESOLUTION OF THE
CH'YOFSANJACINTO, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000
;V11EREAS, the City Council adopted the budget for fiscal year 1999-2000 before the
closing of the accounting records for fiscal year 1998-99; and
JVHEREAS, there is currently $483,065 in undesignated general fund reserves available
for possible appropriation in fiscal year 1999-2000; and
4'HEREAS, revenues have exceeded expectations for the first half of fiscal year 1999-
2000;
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
hereby amends the budget for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 as follows:
Section 1: Transfer $120,000 of undesignated General Fund resen es to a
reserve for equipment replacement.
Section 2: Increase the Police Department budget in account 010-3100-431-
4045 by $150,000 for the purchase of five (5) patrol vehicles.
Section 3: Authorize an inter-fund transfer of $36,000 from the General Fund
to the LLMD No. l Fund and increase the budget in account 025-
7252-410-3330 by $18,000 for repairs and upgrading to the
Maxicom* irrigation control system in the Rancho San Jacinto
Area and increase account 025-7252-410-4045 by $18,000 for
purchase of a small pickup.
Section 4: Increase the finance Department budget in account 010-1400-414-
4045 by $10,000 to replace old desks and chairs.
Section 5: Increase the Water Enterprise fund budget in account 050-9000-
450-4045 by $25,000 to purchase a new truck.
.Section 6: Appropriate $20,000 in the Air Quality Improvement Fund account
063-3110-410-4045 to purchase a fuel efficient, low emission
passenger car.
