A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE
APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California Constitution provides for establishment
of a formal appropriations limit from the proceeds of taxes; and
WHEREAS, a formal appropriations limit has not been established for Fiscal
Year 2001-2002; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Finance has provided per capita
personal income and population change data for calculating the allowed increases in
the appropriations limit for fiscal year 2001-2002; and
WHEREAS, attachment A to this resolution provides the calculation for the 2001-
2002 appropriations limit;
r.. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED determined and ordered by the City
Council of the City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, State of California, as follows:
The appropriations limit from proceeds of taxes is hereby established as
$18,096,572 for fiscal year 2001-2002.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 71" day of November, 2002 by the following
vote:
Ayes: Ayres, Carlson-Buydos, Conner
Nays: None
Absent: Good
Abstain: None
