A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING RULES OF PROCEDURE
FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS AND RELATED FUNCTIONS AND
ACTIVITIES BY REPEALING RESOLUTIONS NO. 99-56, NO. 2321,
AND NO. 2341AND ADOPTING THE CITY COUNCIL ORIENTATION
HANDBOOK
WHEREAS, the purpose and intent of the City Council in adopting This
Resolution is to provide a single, comprehensive directory of guidelines relating
to the conduct of public business by or on behalf of the City Council. In the event
of any non—compliance with or violation of any provision of this Resolution, such
will not be deemed to affect the validity of any action taken, unless otherwise
specifically provided by law. All references to gender in this Resolution include
the masculine, feminine and neuter.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1:
Resolution Number 99-56, Resolution Number 2321, and
Resolution Number 2341 are hereby repealed in their entirety.
Section 2:
The City Council Orientation Handbook, attached hereto and
incorporated by reference herein, is hereby adopted by the City of
San Jacinto City Council.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 2002 by the following
vote:
