A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING AN ANNEXTION MAP SHOWING
TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED TO COMMUNITY
FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2003-1 (CFD 2003-1) (ANNEXATION NO. 3
TO CFD 2003-1)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, California, ("City
Council'), formed a Community Facilities District and certain improvement areas therein
pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of
1982", being Chapter 2.5, Part 1 , Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code of the
State of California (the "Act'). The Community Facilities District has been designated as
Community Facilities District No. 2003-1 (the "District'); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to initiate {proceedings to annex certain
property to the District; and,
WHEREAS, there has been submitted a map entitled "Annexation Map No. 3 To
Community Facilities District No. 2003-1, City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, State
of California' (the "Annexation Map") showing the territory proposed to be annexed to
the District (the "Territory").
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, determined and ordered by
the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, that
SECTION 1. Recitals. The above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2. Map. The Annexation Map showing the Territory proposed
to be annexed to the District and to be subject to the levy of
a special tax is hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. Certificate. A certificate shall be endorsed on the original
and on at least one (1) copy of Annexation Map, evidencing
the date and adoption of this Resolution, and within fifteen
(15) days after the adoption of the Resolution fixing the time
and place of the hearing on the intention to annex or extent
of the annexation to the District, a copy of such map shall be
filed with the correct and proper endorsements thereon with
the County Recorder, all in the manner and form provided for
in Section 3111 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California.
