A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO SUPPORTING REGIONAL COOPERATION WITH THE
CITY OF HEMET AND COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE TO PROMOTE
AND ADVANCE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR RESIDENTS AND
BUSINESSES IN THE SAN JACINTO VALLEY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto wishes to improve quality
of life for San Jacinto Valley (Valley) residents and businesses; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto recognizes that health,
safety and welfare of Valley residents and businesses is dependent on positive
working relationships with the City of Hemet and County of Riverside; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto recognizes that quality of
life means the Valley must be a quality place to live, work, educate and recreate;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto endeavors to partner with
the City of Hemet and County of Riverside to create an environment that
.,r promotes a positive business climate, which in turn creates jobs, facilitating the
need for education and housing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto know that cooperative
efforts between the cities of Hemet, San Jacinto and County of Riverside is
essential in attracting sustainable business opportunities and ventures; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Jacinto truly understand that the
residents of the Valley deserve a quality of life that preserves its rich history and
builds its future, together with the City of Hemet and County of Riverside.
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
proclaims its partnership with the City of Hemet and County of Riverside to
encourage constructing an incomparable Valley for all.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED, this 161h day of December, 2010,
by the following vote:
