A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINANCING OF
REDEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE SAN JACINTO
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA BY THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO AND OTHER MATTERS
RELATING THERETO
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Jacinto (the "Agency")
is authorized pursuant to Part 1 of Division 24 of the California Health and Safety Code
(the "Act') to issue bonds for any of its corporate purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Agency, in connection with its San Jacinto Redevelopment
Project Area (the "Project'), has indicated its intention to issue bonds to be designated
as "Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Jacinto, San Jacinto Redevelopment
Project Area Tax Allocation Bonds, Series 2005" (the "Bonds") in an aggregate principal
amount issue not to exceed $10,000,000 the proceeds of which will be used to finance
the Project and to refinance existing bonds of the Agency issued in 1993; and
WHEREAS, Section 33640 of the Law requires the Agency to obtain the
approval of the City Council of the City of San Jacinto prior to issuance of the Bonds;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves of the issuance of the Bonds as being in
the public interests of the City of San Jacinto and of the Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
Jacinto as follows:
Section 1. Approval of Financing. This City Council hereby approves the
issuance of the Bonds by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Jacinto, as
described herein, above.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption.
