A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO RENAMING TRANQUILO COURT AS REEDS WAY
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto ('City") has policies and procedures
for the naming of new streets proposed in the community; and
WHEREAS, Tranquilo Court is a recorded paper street within Tract 31384
that has not yet been constructed; and
WHEREAS, Distinguished Homes has requested that Tranquilo Court be
renamed Reeds Way, after Ken Reeds, an Education Foundation Member,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED determined and ordered by the
City Council of the City of San Jacinto:
SECTION 1: The City Council finds and declares as follows:
A. Renaming of Tranquilo Court to Reeds Way is consistent with City
..� Council Adopted policies to allow for street names to be changed;
and
B. Renaming of Tranquito Court to Reeds Way is consistent with the
provisions of the Streets and Highways Code for renaming streets.
SECTION 2; The City Clerk is directed to certify the passage and
adoption of this Resolution; enter same in the [book of original Resolutions;
and make a Minute of its adoption in the City's records and in the Minutes
of the meeting when it was adopted.
SECTION 3; The City Clerk is further directed to forward a certified copy
c f this Resolution to the clerk of the Riverside County Board of
Supervisors and the Riverside County Surveyor,
SECTION 4: This Resolution will become effective immediately upon
adoption and will remain effective unless repealed or superseded.

San Jacinto at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of March, 2008 by the
following vote:
