A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO RENAMING AYRES COURT AS SHELBRAN COURT
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto ("City") has policies and procedures for the
naming of new streets proposed in the community; and
WHEREAS, Ayres Court is a recorded private street that has been constructed
and has an occupied home; and
WHEREAS, Shelbran Company, the developer of the private development, has
requested that Ayres Court be renamed Shelbran Court.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED determined and ordered by the City
Council of the City of San Jacinto:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and declares as follows:
A. Renaming of Ayres Court to Shelbran Court is consistent with the
provisions of the Streets and Highways Code for renaming streets; and
B. Renaming of Ayres Court to Shelbran Court is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is directed to certify the passage and adoption of
this Resolution; enter same in the book of original Resolutions; and make a
Minute of its adoption in the City's records and in the Minutes of the meeting
when it was adopted.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk is further directed to forward a certified copy of this
Resolution to the clerk of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and to the
Riverside County Surveyor.
SECTION 4: This Resolution will become effective immediately upon adoption
and will remain effective unless repealed or superseded.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED, this 7t" day of February 2008, by the
following vote:
Ayes: Carlson, Mansperger, Ritchie, Ayres
