A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2505 BY APPOINTING
THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO ACT AS AGENT IN
CONDUCTING ALL NEGOTIATIONS AND EXECUTING AND
SUBMITTING ALL DOCUMENTS FOR THE FILING OF THE
APPLICATION FOR LOCAL ASSISTANCE FUNDS FROM THE
ROBERTI-Z'BERG-HARRIS OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION
PROGRAM UNDER THE SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS,
CLEAN WATER, CLEAN AIR, AND COASTAL PROTECTION
BOND ACT OF 2000
WHEREAS, on 18th day of December 2003, the City Council (the "City
Council") of the City of San Jacinto adopted Resolution No. 2505, the resolution
approving the applicant to apply for park grant funds for the Robe rti-Z'Berg-Harris Open
Space and Recreation Program under the Safe Neighborhood Parks, Clean Water,
Clean Air, and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2000; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2505 the City Council, among other
matters, appointed the Public Works Superintendent as agent to conduct all
\, negotiations, execute and submit all documents including, but not limited to
applications, agreements, payment requests and so on, which may be necessary for the
completion of project(s), and
WHEREAS, the position of Public Works Superintendent has been
reclassified as Public Works Director; and
WHEREAS, the State of California has recommended that the City amend
Resolution 2505 to officially appoint the Public Works Director as agent to conduct all
negotiations, execute and submit all documents including, but not limited to
applications, agreements, payment requests and so on, which may be necessary for the
completion of project(s);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Resolution No. 2505 is amended to appoint the Public Works Director as
agent to conduct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents
including, but not limited to applications, agreements, payment requests
and so on, which may be necessary for the completion of project(s).
Section 2. Resolution No. 2505 is rescinded to the extent that it is inconsistent with
this Resolution.
